Mafia 1.3 Patch

- While all this nonsense was going on, I bought a PS Now subscription, played all of Mafia 2, and got the platinum, before this patch got released. It's like I'm holding 2K Czech in my arms and saying, 'look how they massacred my boy'.
- Mafia v1.2 Patch Spanish Update your mid 1930's old styled gangster third-person action title to version 1.2. This patch should be applied to the Spanish version only. You might also be interested in Mafia v1.2 Patch.
PC players, reboot Mafia III because patch 1.01 is now available for download. This patch includes 30, 60, and unlimited frames-per-second options on PC. To select your framerate, just head to the display menu in-game. Just make sure to tailor the framerate settings to the power of your machine.

Sidenote:
Race locations in Empire bay mod: I had a small jpeg pic in my Empire mod folder, I think it’s for the Empire mod ,so i’ve included it in the archive,could be wrong but might be useful.
I left some text files with the archive ,they are translated from various Russian sites and might be helpful.
Parts of the mod have Russian voices probably added by Nemesis ,would be nice to have English audio but Nemesis said he stopped working on this after the v1.3.1 patch.
Anyway i thought it would be good to give it a more permanent home here at mafiamods.
Installation:
Installation can be problematic as all instructions have been in Russian .
The basic origianl info was to make sure you have update5 installed and to remove Joe’s adventure dlc folder or mod won’t work.
The problem is the original instructions say to install the “update 5 full Russian” version.
This is what i did to get the mod working before:
I got the empire mod v1.3.1 working with english version.
I made duplicate of two ‘ru’ folders.
1: dlc_datarussian
copy to: dlc_dataenglish
2: cnt_empire_baysds_ru
Bootcamp 3.0 32 bit download. copy to: cnt_empire_baysds_en
Not sure if that’s the best way but it worked for me.
Someone else said to try editing some text in the the ‘content’ file ,maybe changing names from ru to en or vice versa ,anyway the above
info worked ok for me as far as i can remember ,it was a while ago when i tried it.
There is some more install help on that old mafiasceneDOTnet link above ,maybe some tips that might help.
P.S.Don’t forget! You have to remove ‘cnt_joes_adventures’ folder from dlc folder.

Backup your game folder(or files) before making any changes ,you can then play around with the ru/en files and see if you can get it working.

2K Games and Hangar 13 today released an update for Mafia Definitive Edition (Mafia 1 Remake). We will have all relevant information about this patch on October 7th.
The Mafia Definitive Edition update 1.03 is now available for PC (Steam), PS4 and Xbox One. The update includes new features such as the custom HUD functions and adjustments.

Custom HUD Options
Use these new options to customize the in-game HUD if, for example, you want to make your explorations of Lost Heaven feel less guided or take a particularly pleasing screenshot:
- Switch the in-world main objective marker on/off.
- Switch mini-map enemy markers on/off on all difficulty settings. (Previously enemy markers were always on outside of Classic Mode.)
- Switch navigation features like turn-by-turn instructions and the mini-map GPS on/off.
- Enable the new Minimal HUD mode to hide HUD elements including the mini-map, the speedometer, and objective text while playing.
Noir Mode
Enable Noir Mode to enjoy Mafia: Definitive Edition’s gameplay and cinematics with a vintage black-and-white look. Noir Mode can be toggled on and off via the game options screen.
Free Ride Content
Mafia 1 Patch 1.3
Now that you’re off to the races and enjoying Free Ride mode, depending on which vehicle you’re driving and where you’re driving it, you might find one of a couple new gameplay features that we’ve added to the mode. We’ll leave the specifics for you to discover and hope you fare well in Lost Heaven.
Mafia: Definitive Edition fixes in this update include but are not limited to the following:
- Addressed a reported issue that sometimes prevented the correct vehicles from unlocking in the player garage upon completion of the optional Lucas Bertone missions. Players who have completed these missions should find the correct vehicles in their garage the next time they start the game.
- Addressed a reported concern that a special assassination animation sometimes wasn’t triggering correctly during the mission “The Saint and The Sinner.”
- Addressed a reported concern that certain cinematics would occasionally show a black screen.
